Discovery Grid Overview

Discovery Grid is an Opensim-based virtual world. It operates much as Second Life does. Some of it's outstanding features are: Extremely low lag, large land masses available (up to the equiv of 64 SL sims!), huge inter-connected seas, and servers distributed in multiple countries to help with latency issues. It is hypergrid enabled. The currencies used are DC$ and Gloebits. They are one of the very few Virtual Worlds to feature greeters who will help you get settled and find your first home.
