ColonyCount Overview

CURRENTLY IN EARLY BETA SO EXPECT ISSUES
The purpose of ColonyCount is to assists when counting bacterial colonies or performing measurements of bacterial growth on agar plates.
This is done by overlaying a picture of a plate with a number of layers containing tag and measurement primitives.
Each layer is associated with one specific primitive type and only that type can be added to the layer - but any number of layers can be added on top of a plate image.
Currently ColonyCount supports the following primitives: tags for counting, line segments for distance measurements and spheres for radius measurements.
All images, layers and results can be stored in a project structure where each project can contain multiple plates and each plate multiple images.
